Why and for what features DMSO used as Kosher?
What concentration DMSO is used in?

DMSO = Dimethyl sulfoxide. It is a chemical that carries other chemicals through the skin into the bloodstream. It can be toxic, and some consider it to be carcinogenic, or possibly, mutagenic.

I thought it was a add in for salt.

What Can DMSO Cure And Help Prevent? How Is It Applied?

I've searched dozens of documents on the internet and cannot find one that tells exactly how DMSO is used. I just ordered a small bottle and don't know if it should be diluted and where it should be applied. If it has to be diluted before being applied then how many parts water to parts DMSO should I use? Should I put it on different parts of the body to help prevent and cure different things and for how many days per week or month should it be used?
This question is very broad. Please try to answer all my questions if you can. Thank you.

As stated in an earlier answer, DMSO is an industrial solvent. About 30 years ago it was found to be able to stop pain. Many pro and amature athletes began using it because they found no immediate side effects other smelling like garlic and having garlic breath. People were drinking it straight for ulcers and applying it directly to the skin for other problems. Not long after this phenomena and the fact that the medical community could not explain why it did what it did and did not hurt you it became outlawed or hard to get. You can use it in solution or at 100%. Depending on what you are using it for I would suggest using it either way.

DMSO does not cure anything; it does however stop the pain. I know, I have used it on an ankle injury. One minute I could not walk, the next I was running as good as new. Pain free. I could still feel the injury but no pain. Now the real amazing thing was that I did not cause further damage even though I was full out while I was playing, running and stuff.

As far as how often, that's up to you. Remember, DMSO does not prevent or cure anything but it does allow you to participate in certain tasks. If you are injured and need medical attention you will still need medical attention after using DMSO.

Good Luck

Dimethyl sulfoxide is just a solvent. It doesn't do anything except allow polar and non-polar solutes to dissolve in the same liquid. That means things that dissolve in water and things that don't. There are only those two categories. Soap does the same thing. That's why when you use soap, the oil on your skin, which would not otherwise dissolve in the running water, now does, and you clean your hands.

DMSO transports whatever is dissolved into it, through your skin. It is a dangerous substance for that reason. It is like an open wound. Anything can now get past your skin barrier and into your tissue. It has no medicinal value, but has been used to transport poisons into people's bodies.

This answer will seem vague, because there are so many uses for DMSO. I don't know how you got a bottle, because in Oklahoma it is limited to veterinarians.

However, I'd recommend you dilute it 50/50 with water and apply sparingly to whatever joint or sore you are trying to heal. If not diluted, it will leave a bitter garlic taste and odor in your mouth and can be quite unpleasant. As to long term use, since it isn't recommended for human use, you will not be able to find much on it. If you put it on with your hands, be sure you wash your hands thoroughly after using. I use Q-tips to apply it.

Before she died, my mother had severe rheumatoid arthritis and I used diluted DMSO on her joints, which gave her relief. I have neuropathy in my feet, and sometimes use diluted DMSO to relieve the nerve pain.

I don't know if this helps. I have a book on DMSO, but am unable to get that to you, of course,

In chemistry and in a mixture of DMSO and water but with different volumes of water and DMSO?

How do the solutions react when put in water bath for 25 C? Is this an ideal system? what about the viscosity? how does it change?

Is English your first language? DMSO and water are miscible, that is they form solutions in any combination. DMSO does not react with water at any temperature, but a mixture of DMSO and water will have lower freezing and higher boiling points than either pure DMSO or water. Viscosity increases with decreasing temperature.

The cost of a single IVF cycle would probably be around $12,000 0 but you must then add the cost of medications, which averages at a few thousand dollars per cycle. (It's also my understanding that the cost of a single IVF cycle can be much more, perhaps as high as $25,000....although personally I don't know of any clinic that charges that much.) Some states require that insurance plans contain infertility coverage, but those are in the minority; outside of that, most insurance doesn't cover it...or, I've seen a lot of insurance plans tnat cover various fertility treatments but specifically exclude IVF. If you compare the cost f tubal ligation reversal to the cost of a SINGLE IVF cycle, then perhaps the IVF s cheaper. But that assumes your first IVF cycle is successful. With tubal ligation reversal, the hope, of course, is that once you have the surgery you require no further medical intervention to get pregnant -- you have the cost of the surgery and you're done. With IVF, however, you may be looking at a single cycle....or at two...or three...or four...you get tge picture. That said, something to consider is that many fertility clinics haave so-called shared risk programs, and, *if* uou qualify for that clinic's program, you pay a certain amount for a certain number of tries, and if you don't succeed with the IVF you get a certain portiion of your money back, or all of it back. (For example, the shared risk program at q prominent Maryland clinic costs about $30,000 and entitles you to 6 IVF cycles (the cost of medications is separate, of course); if you deliver and bring home z healthy child, whether it's frpm the first cycle or the sixth, it's cost you $30,000, but if you don't succeed 100% of the cost is refunded, and, you can opt out at any time (ie after 3 cycles you can decide you want to stop treatments, and the full amount of money will be refunded.) Anyway, the point is there are a oot of variables. And things to consider also are factors that effect your fertility....
