Well, I have a few questions. First off, If I wanted to have a baby on my own and wanted to visit a sperm bank, how do I go about it? Where are sperm banks located and what do you all have to do to be able to visit the sperm bank. Any answers or stories, I would appriciate it.

My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for almost 8 yrs now with no success. We tried many IUI procedures but they completely useless as my husband's sperm count and motility is very low. The next solution is IVF or sperm doners. Can't afford IVF so we are wondering how safe the sperm is from the bank. I know that the doners provide a family/ medical history but how can anyone know if they are lying? I find it kind of risky? Any advice..plz help!!!
Personally, I would just save for IVF. You are right about not knowing the person and personally I wouldn't want another man's child.
