When freezing your eggs do you have to carry the fetus?
Jun 03, 2010 by Muaythailove | Posted in Trying to Conceive
Okay so I was reading this article recently (I can't remember where) and it talked about Women over thirty freezing their eggs so that they could have children later in life if they so choose. But it was unclear on some aspects. So my question is this: Does the women getting her eggs frozen have to carry her fetus that was created by her eggs or can she choose a different host?
If you want to get a surrogate, you can. Surrogate mothers are those that carry the zygote/embryo made from a different man and women and they get pregnant but it doesn't use their own eggs. (Surrogates can also use their own eggs too if necessary.)
You can also carry your own baby/be pregnant if you want to.
The only problem is that surrogates cost $$$$$$$$$$. They're super expensive since not only are you getting this outside fertilization and other treatments, you are paying a woman to get pregnant and if she hadn't already been pregnant your body changes a lot (get fatter, boobs get bigger and sag a bit, and other things--the fat you can take care of but it's hard, boobs not so much).

Will freezing my eggs prevent pregnancy?
Jun 25, 2009 by scatcblack | Posted in Women's Health
Im 23 and have no plan's on having children and if i do change my mind it wont be until my late 30's.
My body don't get along with Condoms and i would rather i didn't have to use any, and as i don't wanna have kids will freezing my eggs be a possibility? How does it work?
why not just go on a good birth control like depo provera, it will stop your periods and then when your older and want kids you can go off of it and your periods will come back and you can have a child.
Even if you freeze your eggs, you will need to use a condom to avoid getting a nasty STD or HIV which will hurt your chances of getting pregnant in the future. Condoms are needed!
Here is a web site that discusses freezing

Um - you know you can have contraceptive coils and injections that last for several years... The you have them removed and you can have babies again.
Also you not wanting kids until 30 makes it sound like you are not settled into a relationship and if you are going to be sleeping with different partners, condoms are the only sensible way to protect yourself.

Why do eggs keep freezing in my refrigerator?
Sep 20, 2008 by tomlawbcs | Posted in Other - Food & Drink
I put them in the back, front and middle.
My refrigerator isn't even that cold. Nothing else in the frig is overly cold.
ALSO, Do you need to keep eggs in the frig in moderate temperatures? My Mom never used to except in the summer...
Maybe your fridge temp. is too cold. That happens to me sometimes with my eggs and other stuff. You should probably try putting it on the door of your fridge especially if it comes with the thingy to put them into directly. Hope this helps.

Canning Stock and Freezing Eggs | The Cardamom's Pod
by Cardamom
I just canned my first 2 batches of stock this month! I LOVE it canned and wonder how in the world I ever lived without it.
I’ve made stock and frozen it for years in 2 cup portions, but I absolutely *detest* thawing it in the microwave or fridge. It leaks, the bag breaks, blah blah blah. It’s always a mess.
It is the ultimate convenience food to have it canned in my pantry! Not to mention how fabulous they look sitting there on the shelf.
And I had no idea you could freeze eggs. I’m off to check that out…

I can’t wait to hear about the results from your experiment with freezing the eggs. I have been freezing egg casseroles for a while now, but we just tried your oven pancakes yesterday and it was a big hit!
We raise our own fryers, so in the summer I am canning a lot of chicken which gives me a lot of stock. I love having it canned and handy when I need it.
