What would be the best place to choose for Cord Blood Banking?

I'm interested in cord blood banking and I feel a bit rushed in the decision making process. I went for my hospital tour today and it was really the first time it was explained to me. I would really like to know what are some of the more recommended places for Cord Blood Banking in Ontario?
the only think with cord banking in Ontario, is that it costs a lot of money. In a few other provinces. they have a cord blood bank where you can donate it. Because it is used so rarely, it is likely to still be there in the event that you need it. To store it, it will cost a couple thousand to collect it and then there is a storage fee every year that is a few hundred dollars.

Neither myself nor my husband have any type of cancer in our families, however, I am considering banking our son's cord blood, just in case. In your opinion is it worth it? How much does it cost?
